The Welsh in Delta, Pennsylvania

During the nineteenth century, slate workers from Wales emigrated to the Peach Bottom area on the Pennsylvania - Maryland border in the USA. There remains a strong Welsh connection in the area to this day in the towns of Delta and Cardiff.
